The 5th Street Band

Brought together by a love for exciting, melodic music, The 5th Street Band was formed by five college friends in January 2003. Within just a few weeks of its inception, The 5th Street Band was already making use of its creative instrumentation, consisting of electric and acoustic guitars, bass, saxophones, and drums. The result was a catchy, original sound that quickly began to generate buzz within the band's college town of Fredonia, New York.

Unique approaches to songwriting, along with drawing from jazz, rock, alternative, and funk influences, allows The 5th Street Band to produce truly outstanding, radio-aimed original music. It also helps that the band has combined musical experiences which totals over 45 years in their respective instruments!

However, the true love of The 5th Street Band is live performance of their music. Each concert exhibits the group's advanced improvisational skill, giving each audience a unique musical experience.
