Growing up in the south towns of Buffalo, NY, Joe started singing
at the age of nine. While singing and performing in musicals and
chorus ensembles throughout his high school career, Joe received the
vocal training that he needed to be able to withstand the years he
has been singing in bands. Picking up the acoustic guitar at age
fifteen, Joe began writing his own songs before he even learned how to play
songs written by other musicians.

Forming a band in the year of
1999 called the Brother McCreedie, with Mike Tabone (bone) and Paul
McLaughlin they got their start playing at small parties and bars.
Four years later, Joe decided to take a break from the Brother
McCreedie and embark on a solo career. Although it only lasted two
months, he still played in bars and recorded a three track demo CD.
After a lack of interest, Joe then suggested that the band get back
together with the consent of Mike and Paul and hence the 5th street
band was born.

During the reconstruction of the band in the winter
of 2003, Joe, Mike and Paul met two talented musicians, Pete Thomas
and Bob Spryn who shared the same musical interests. It has been a
long road for Joe and his music career but he has faith that this
musical project will bring him and the others to their longtime
shared goal: to play Madison Square Garden.
